Thank You, John!

Every year one student is the Editor-in-Chief of the Navigator, which basically means they are at the top of the food chain of the Navigator. While this position comes with its benefits, it also comes with its challenges. The Navigator’s Editor-in-Chief for the 2024-2025 school year, John C., has shown through his work this year that he can truly lift the mantle of the Editor-in-Chief proudly. Because of this, the whole Navigator staff has come together to issue some final thanks to John for his great work this year.

Onyi: “John, thank you for serving as editor-in-chief this year! You’ve been a great leader, and each of this year’s publications shines in its own way! Thank you for your dedication and commitment. I wish you a bright future ahead!”

Ellie: “John, in the short time I have known you I can tell how kind, hardworking, and helpful you are. You are always there for questions and when everyone needs help. You have been a great Editor-in-Chief. Thank you for all you've done this year. The Navigator will miss you, and I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors!”

Avery: “John, thank you for all of your hard work this year. You have done a great job this year serving as Editor-In-Chief. It has been a joy working with you! The Nav staff will miss you!”

Brooklyn: “John, thank you for making the Nav such a fun newspaper to be a part of. I've gotten to see how you collaborate and brainstorm over the past year and I know how hard you work to keep the Nav running so well. Thanks again!”

Michael: “John, you joined the Navigator the same year I did and I have enjoyed working with you over the past three years. You have been an incredible editor-in-chief. You have been so patient with me as I worked on the images. I am praying for you as you enter the next phase of your life.”

Jonah: “John, thank you for being our editor-and-chief! It is a position with a lot of responsibility and I think you handled it really well. I hope that you enjoy college! You will be missed!”

Joseph: “John, you have been an excellent editor-in-chief this year! This job involves a lot of responsibility, but you handled it well and have always been ready to help us and answer questions when needed. Your support and willingness to manage the Navigator website have ensured our publications have been well polished and delivered on time. Know that your effort is recognized and appreciated, and that I will pray for you as you continue your educational journey!”

Gracie: “John, you have done an absolutely fantastic job this year as our editor-in-chief.  Your hard work and kindness have helped unite our team and keep us together during the craziness of publications.  This year would not have been the same without you.  I wish you the best of luck as you pursue your calling outside of NorthStar.  Thank you for everything!”

Graham: “John, I appreciate your help tremendously. Your feedback on my work is consistently helpful and greatly improves its quality. Your commentary is not only welcome, but also instrumental in improving my abilities. I'm certain that every other student here agrees with me when I say that I'm truly thankful for your help.”

Zoe: “John, thank you for all your work this year! Being an editor-in-chief is no easy job, and you've done a great job in the role. It's been an honor working alongside you, and I wish you luck in all you decide to do after high school!”

Keziah: “John, you were an excellent boss. I appreciated your answers to my questions and your hard work to get everything published on time and correctly. Though I didn't get to know you very well, I'm sure you'll do a great job in every next step you take. Thank you!”

Alex: “John, thanks for being my teacher and guide this year. I have learned a lot from you, and it was awesome to help such a great editor-in-chief. Good luck with whatever challenges and goals you have ahead of yourself, and thank you again for being such a great captain of the Navigator this year.”

Jared: “Thank you so much for your 3 year service John! You have done fantastic work here at the Navigator and you will surely be missed! I pray you have a great goal for the future as you will surely acheive it!“

Alexander M. lives in Georgia, USA, with his parents and younger sister.  He has been a student at NorthStar Academy for two full years, and this is his second year at the Navigator.  He enjoys playing video games like Minecraft with his friends and likes talking with other students at NorthStar Academy.
